HFW’s heritage is interwoven with the history of Huddersfield and the development of the Fine Worsted Cloths for which the town is world famous.
Over the years many of the famous West Yorkshire mills were amalgamated. HFW kept several of these mill names alive and they continue to trade under the brand names Hardy Minnis, Hunt & Winterbotham and Martin Sons & Co’.
Each brand has its own rich history and is synonymous with its own iconic cloths.
